Red Gallagher
Solo Entertainer

Red Gallagher does an upbeat show of music and humor. A true one-man band he plays guitar, harmonica, piano and sings. The songs include jazz, blues, folk, country, rock and roll and many beloved pop tunes.

In addition, his original songs, humor tunes and parodies poke fun at everyday life. Spontaneity, audience participation and fun are what make him special.

Sit back, relax and enjoy Red Gallagher

Minneapolis Star Tribune: "A fine and facile guitarist capable of some lowdown blues grit on harmonica."

The Twin Cities Reader: "Red Gallagher's art lies somewhere between Jimmy Buffett's beach bumming and Weird Al Yankovic's parade of parodies!"

The Red Gallagher Group

"Incredible Variety!" Barbara Ducharme, Highland Fest
"Professional, dependable..."Linda Larson, Lake Harriet

Whether it's a 3 or 4 piece ensemble, the Red Gallagher Group always delivers a delightful show for all ages. In the course of a set you'll hear everything from blues to polka, from old standards to rocking contemporary tunes and lots of danceable rock and roll. Always fun and never too loud, this band is perfect in large or small settings, inside or out, concert stage to private party. Red Gallagher calls the songs with a funny, casual attitude "reminiscent of Garrison Keillor" (Bruce Gregoire, Bop Till You Drop Promotions). the repertoire is so huge that the program can be adapted to fit the special needs of any audience. Requests, sing-alongs, guest vocalists, birthday or anniversary songs can always be included. An original song or parody can even be written for a special occasion.

Besides giving a professional performance, the Red Gallagher Group's main goal is one they want to share with you...TO HAVE FUN!

Artists covered include Jimmy Buffett, Eric Clapton, Van Morrison, The Beatles, Bob Seeger, Chuck Berry, B. B. King, Roy Orbison, Elvis, Hank Williams and countless others.
